Advocate Resources

general help

CASA advocate resources are useful tools for volunteers working on behalf of an abused and/or neglected child within the San Luis Obispo County Court system.

We are here to help you, valued CASA volunteer!

This section addresses both parts of your CASA volunteer commitment—materials to help you work your case, and resources for meeting your Continuing Education needs.

We strive to provide all the resources you may need to help you best meet the needs of these vulnerable children. Please let us know of any way we can support you in preparing for court, securing your Continuing Education, or helping your CASA child/children. These resources change frequently, and we often expand them based on volunteer requests. Everything here is provided to better help you.
Thank you for all you do.
With appreciation,

Teresa Tardiff

Although most of your time as a CASA Advocate gets spent with a child, we can’t escape the paperwork! The good news is, most of these are used once or rarely. Please let us know if we can add anything here that will help you.

Call (805) 781-KIDS (5437) to report abuse. Notify your Advocate Supervisor, or if unavailable, speak to another Advocate Supervisor or CASA’s Executive Director Teresa Tardiff (you can reach her after hours at (805) 441-0044. CASA staff can assist you with completing and submitting this form.
